I feel immense sadness and disappointment as my child was born with a deformed face, leading me to believe that my child has been abandoned by God.ThanhSinh

In the hush of the night, where shadows linger long,
I cradle my child, a tender, fragile song,
But beneath the moon’s soft, silvery grace,
Lies a burden heavy upon my heart’s embrace.

With a face that’s different, a form so unique,
Tears stain my cheeks, emotions peak,
Immense sadness grips me, a weight so deep,
As I watch my child sleep, lost in troubled sleep.

Disappointment lingers, a heavy cloud above,
I question silently, lost in love,
Has my child been forsaken, abandoned by fate,
Left to navigate a world filled with hate?

I gaze at those features, so different, so rare,
Wondering why life chose this path to ensnare,
In the quiet of the room, my thoughts collide,
As sorrow washes over, a relentless tide.

I reach out to touch that precious face,
Seeking solace in this unexpected place,
But doubts and fears gnaw at my core,
As I grapple with feelings I’ve never felt before.

Does God turn away from those who bear
A burden so heavy, so hard to bear?
Or is there a purpose, a lesson to learn,
In the twists and turns life’s pathways churn?

Through tear-stained eyes, I search for a sign,
A reason, a meaning, a purpose divine,
To understand why my child must face
A world that may judge, a world that may trace

Lines of difference on a face so dear,
Leaving me with sorrow, with doubt, with fear,
But in the depths of this darkness, a flicker of light,
A love so pure, burning bright in the night.

For in my child’s eyes, I see a soul so pure,
A heart untouched by judgment’s lure,
And in that moment, a truth unfurled,
My child is not abandoned; my child is my world.

God’s love, unconditional, shines through,
In the bond between me and you,
And though the road ahead may be steep,
Together, we’ll navigate the valleys deep.

So I hold you close, my child so dear,
Whispering words of love, banishing fear,
For in your smile, in your embrace,
I find God’s presence, His eternal grace.
