In the stillness of the night, where shadows dance,
I hold my child, in a sorrowful trance,
With a face unique, a heart heavy with pain,
I offer prayers, seeking solace in the rain.
Heartbroken and disheartened, emotions raw,
As I watch my child with flaws so stark and raw,
I turn to the heavens, my voice a plea,
To ease their suffering, to set them free.
Each day I kneel, my prayers a song,
Hoping for grace to right what feels so wrong,
For my child, born with a face unknown,
I seek God’s mercy, in a voice soft as a moan.
In the curve of their lips, in eyes that shine,
I see a soul pure, a spirit divine,
Though the world may judge, may cast its stones,
In my arms, my child finds love, finds home.
So I pray each night, each dawn that breaks,
For God’s hand to soothe, to heal the ache,
To bring happiness, to light their way,
To guide them through darkness, to a brighter day.
In this journey of pain, of hope and fear,
I hold my child close, wipe away each tear,
For in their smile, in their gentle grace,
I find strength, I find love, I find my place.
Heartbroken but hopeful, in faith I reside,
Trusting in God, in His love so wide,
For in the face of adversity’s knife,
I see my child, the essence of life.
