A male worker woke up from his sleep to find a king cobra in his room.
According to Newsflare, a young man named Prasit Pakorn just woke up from his sleep and saw a cobra with distinctive black scales lying on the ground, right next to him.
Prasit, 20, screamed for help from his neighbours, who later pulled the snake out of his home in Krabi, southern Thailand. The snake was 4.2 metres long.
“The cobra must have entered the room while I was sleeping. I was relieved that it didn’t bite me,” Prasit said.
The highly venomous king cobra is found throughout southern Thailand, where it lives in dense forests and feeds on lizards and other snakes.
However, they are considered an endangered species on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and often venture into villages in search of food.
