According to published information, this yellow python is one of the rarest python species and is a first-class protected animal at the national level.
After being quarantined for observation and disease prevention at the wildlife rescue station, this yellow python was sent to Zhengzhou Zoo.
Upon arrival at the zoo, this golden python will still be isolated for a period of time.
Only when medical staff confirm that all aspects are normal will the python be kept in a private area to be presented to the public.
Zhengzhou Zoo staff said that the golden python is a kind of mutated python , most of which are due to artificial breeding. Therefore, their bodies are very weak.
The body has a different color, which makes it easier to reveal itself to enemies and at the same time, prey can easily spot it and run away. In addition, living in a wild environment with plenty of sunlight, golden pythons are easily burned and damaged by ultraviolet rays.
