A woman in Santa Fe, Argentina, came across a strange two-headed creature and caused a stir on the Internet.
Lujan Eroles, 46, was walking through her yard when she came across the creepy-looking creature, before screaming to her friends in horror.
The rough-skinned creature looked like a two-headed snake, was about four inches (10 cm) long and had skin like a snake.

The strange two-headed creature (pictured) appears to be blinking with only one eye. Lujan Eroles, who found it in her backyard in Argentina, said she thought it was a “mutant animal.”
HAWK MOTH CATERPILLARS
Many people thought this strange mutant was actually an elephant hawk moth caterpillar.
It has two large ‘eye marks’ behind its head that fool predators into thinking it is larger than it is.
These strange-looking creatures can be found in a variety of habitats including open fields, woodlands and urban gardens.
They grow to over three inches (8.5 cm) long and get their name because the caterpillars resemble elephant trunks.
“I had never seen anything like it, it was like a snake and its eyes were very strange,” Eroles said, adding that the creature appeared to be blinking with one eye.
“I looked down and saw the strange animal, fear gripping me knowing it could have been poisonous,” she said.
“We all thought it was a mutant animal, so we filmed it and posted it online for people to give us their opinion.”
Ms Eroles posted the photo on her Facebook page to ask if anyone knew what it was.
“I think it is a deformed creature. This planet is so old that it gives everything on it the chance to rebuild itself into something different,” wrote Robert Moore.
“One thing is certain: it is not a caterpillar because it has no legs,” he said.
“This could be the head of a viper,” commented another Facebook user, Fernando García.
“A disabled snake. Better not go into the woods,” said Cheryl Bagley, who was among 3,000 people who commented on Eroles’ post.
Many have suggested that the creature is a caterpillar of the elephant hawk moth, known for its curved, horn-like spines.
Sphinx caterpillars can be found in a variety of habitats, including open fields, woodlands, and urban gardens.

“We did an exhaustive Google search on the subject and also several people told us that it was a caterpillar that will turn into a butterfly,” said Ms. Eroles.
‘The reason it was in my yard was because it was feeding on vines near my house, and it was camouflaged to look like some kind of viper to scare off predators.’
