A giant 6m long python was discovered on the roof of a house in Bangkok, Thailand at midnight on March 8, reported Coconuts Bangkok.

Photos of the giant python quickly went viral on social media after being posted on Facebook by firefighters.
“Oh my gosh! We received a report of a python living under the roof of a house on Soi Lasalle 30,” the local fire department captioned the photo.

The fire department said the python was spread out across the roof , with its head near the door and its tail at the end of the room.
The room is about 6 meters long, the homeowner said, just enough space for the giant python.
“It was hard to get it down and even harder to get it into the sack,” the fire department added. “However, we were successful and the homeowner can sleep well tonight.”

The python will be released into the wild.

The python was then taken to the Royal Forestry Department and will be released back into its natural habitat.
