A rescue team member caught a giant king cobra measuring 4 meters long and weighing 8 kg with his bare hands in Chanthaburi province, Thailand.

According to Newsflare, local people were extremely shocked to discover the ” monster ” on the top of the mangosteen tree. When the rescue team arrived at the scene, they saw the giant king cobra lying between the branches. Despite using a ladder to climb up, the snake still slithered to another tree to hide.

Eventually, they had to use a long stick to drag the snake to the ground. The cobra fell, opened its mouth in a threatening manner and tried to escape. The rescue team then locked the snake in a plastic box and brought it back to check its condition before releasing it back into the wild.

In Thailand, about 7,000 people are bitten by snakes each year, with 30 deaths, of which king cobras are the leading cause of death.
