A rare sight in the animal world has just appeared in Australia: A horse stood in amazement watching a giant python swallow a kangaroo on the grassland.
Bernie Worsford discovered and recorded the scene of the giant moon wrapping around a kangaroo and slowly swallowing its prey in Kuranda, Far North Queensland, Australia. A horse stood nearby and watched the gruesome scene
The close-up photo shows the giant python opening its mouth very wide to try to swallow the entire body of its prey
Worsford said he was not sure whether the kangaroo was dead or alive before it was swallowed by the giant pytho
The final photo shows the python’s body bloated after swallowing almost the entire kangaroo and it appears to be very satisfied with its delicious meal
