In the shadow of unforeseen challenges, our hearts heavy with sorrow,
Since my child was born with deformities, it’s felt like a bleak tomorrow.
Abandoned by God, or so it seems in our darkest hour,
Yet within this pain, there blooms a fragile but resilient flower.
Heartbroken, I stand, gazing at my child’s innocent face,
Tracing the lines of struggle and grace.
Questions unspoken hang heavy in the air,
Yet through the despair, a whisper of hope dares.
In the quiet of night, in the depths of my soul,
I send prayers heavenward, seeking a way to make whole.
Each dawn brings a new day, a chance to believe,
That in the face of adversity, we can achieve.
I pray for strength, for courage to face each test,
For my child, a warrior, facing life with zest.
May they find joy in the smallest of things,
In the laughter of birds, in the flight of wings.
Though the road ahead is fraught with uncertainty,
Love will be our guide, our beacon of unity.
In the embrace of family, in the warmth of a touch,
We find solace, we find love that means so much.
So we journey on, hand in hand, heart in heart,
Knowing that we are never truly apart.
For in the depths of our shared adversity,
We find a bond that transcends all diversity.
And so, in the face of trials that seem so vast,
We hold on to hope, to love that will last.
For in the light of each new day’s sun,
We see the promise of a new beginning, a battle won.
