Recently, during a work trip to Maasai Mara in Kenya, wildlife photographer Mike Welton, 28 years old, Canadian, captured extremely impressive images of the confrontation between a leopard and a giant python .
According to Mike, at that time, he was walking around the bushes to see if there was anything when he suddenly heard a strange noise.
Carefully approaching the area where the noise came from, Mike discovered a leopard lurking, trying to kill an antelope.
Next to it was a giant python, also eyeing the unsuspecting antelope as potential prey.
The two predators refused to give in. They fought for about 15 minutes before the cunning python suddenly changed its mind.
It no longer wanted to hunt antelopes, and turned its target to leopards, wanting to make leopards its prey.
The giant python acted quickly, trying to attack. It wrapped itself tightly around the leopard, wanting to use its strong grip to break its bones and suffocate it.
At that time, photographer Mike Welton and other tourists all thought that the leopard was at a disadvantage and would certainly become a meal for the giant python .
Unexpectedly, everyone only heard a crisp “crack” sound, immediately after that, the giant python’s head was bitten hard by the leopard. In pain, the giant python writhed to resist, letting go of the leopard.
But with its brain destroyed, the giant python soon became a feast for the leopard.
The reversal of events left everyone watching in shock.
After the fierce battle, the leopard, with a cold face, lay on a tree trunk to rest. Its face was majestic and imposing, really making a strong impression on everyone.
