Caught a giant king cobra in Thailand
A giant king cobra was recently discovered at a restaurant in the southern city of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, Coconuts Bangkok reported.
Although the cobra is a very scary animal, the restaurant owner still considers it a good omen.
Restaurant owner Kanchana Saeton posted a photo of a snake catcher holding a cobra on Facebook.
The man held the 5m long snake with his bare hands after luring it out of hiding.

Kanchana said diners alerted her after they spotted the snake outside the restaurant’s toilet.
Like many Thais, Kanchana believes snakes are spiritual creatures, so she wrote online that the king cobra could be the “god of the land” of the area.

“The local god is very sacred,” Kanchana captioned the photo. “In the 10 years since I opened this restaurant, today is the first time I have met him. I have only dreamed of him.”
According to Coconuts, locals then released the snake in an area near Yai Si Wang cave.
