Zeu kept grabbing the body of the barnyard snake and towed it away from the children during the fierce fight between the dog and the dead snake. But as a result of that, Zeu was attacked four times by a fake nymph.
According to publicly available information, the accident occurred in the backyard of Gary Richardson’s home in Florida, United States.
Gary’s three young children were playing in the yard at the time while giving the family dog, Zeu, a bath.
Playing very comfortably, a coral snake suddenly appeared. The body of this poisonous snake alternates between shades of red, yellow, black and white.
Despite knowing that it had been discovered, the coral snake decided to approach the children with the intention of attacking. Zeu, the faithful dog, quickly got up, covered the three people, barked and attacked the poisonous snake after noticing the approaching dagger.
Gary and his family say goodbye to their loyal dog Zeus.
The fight between the dog and the coral snake was extremely fierce, Zeus kept biting the coral snake’s body, driving it away from the children. But because of that, Zeus was bitten by a poisonous snake 4 times.
Despite valiant efforts, Zeus managed to kill the snake, but by then the snake’s semen had already seeped deep into the brave dog’s body. The consequence was a distressing sight: Zeus’ face began to swell, a visible manifestation of the toxic effects that were taking place.
Shortly after, Zeus was rushed to the veterinary hospital by his owner. However, the doctor said that coral snakes are extremely poisonous, their skin directly attacks and damages the respiratory system and he cannot be saved. The next day, the brave dog Zeus died of respiratory failure.
Mr. Gary said his family only adopted Zeus in January this year. He was hoping that Zeus would grow up.
