The video shows the man using a tool to pry open the hood of a white scooter, and the cobra suddenly lunges forward as if to attack, looking provocative.
On September 7, the Twitter account of an Indian forestry employee named Susanta Nanda shared a video of a professional yet heart-stopping cobra capture.
Cobra crawled into motorbike to take shelter and was caught
According to India Today, the video was filmed in a residential area in Telangana state, India, in 2020 but has recently gone viral on social media and attracted the attention of netizens. It is known that the owner of the car discovered a strange rattling sound coming from inside, plus the car would not start, so he asked someone to take a look.

The cobra jumped out from the front of the car.
Later, people discovered the snake’s head sticking out from the mirror mount of the motorbike. No one dared to open it to take a look, so they had to ask for help from a professional snake catcher. The video shows the man using a tool to pry open the front cover of the white scooter, the cobra suddenly lunging forward as if about to attack, full of provocation.
A moment later, the man brought a plastic jar and carefully lured the snake inside and closed the lid.

While many people were shocked by the moment the snake jumped off the handlebars of the motorbike or were surprised by the gentle snake catching that looked “satisfying to the eyes”, some netizens shared their opinions about the method the man used was not only dangerous but also fatal to the snake.
One netizen commented: “It’s common for such ‘uninvited guests’ to appear after rains. But this is not a common way to catch snakes. Never try this method.”
However, one internet user defended the snake catcher: “I know this snake catcher. He is a senior expert at the Friends of Snakes and he knows exactly what he is doing. He has rescued thousands of snakes. Untrained people should not try this.”
The video was posted on September 7 and has so far attracted the attention of many netizens with more than 20,000 views and 1,300 likes.
