The two pythons in the video are carpet pythons ( Morelia spilota ), a non-venomous animal. However, they also cause a lot of fear to humans because of their habit of entering residential areas to catch mice, birds or lizards.
“This is a battle. In the world of giant pythons, the stronger one will have the right to mate with the female and the battle can last for days to prove who is the strongest” – Harrison said.
However, these two pythons are so evenly matched that it is almost difficult to determine the winner in such a short time.
Even when a friend (also a snake catcher) of Harrison’s got his hands on one of the snakes, the fight only stopped for a moment.
Both pythons were so excited that they no longer paid attention to the presence of humans, both trying to gain the upper hand and push the other to the ground while tightly wrapping around their opponent.
