Who will win in the fight between the king cobra and the anaconda?

The king cobra has very high venom and is much more agile than the anaconda, so it will not be difficult for it to kill the anaconda, especially on land. In their habitat, king cobras also eat pythons [1], which are large snakes, although not as large as anacondas.

However, it would be a victory or defeat, as it would be difficult for it to swallow a snake of that size, so it would be more like hunting young snakes. But king cobras can also be very long, up to 5.71 m (18.7 ft), in captivity [1], but it would be impossible to swallow one of these snakes:

However, anacondas spend more time in the water than on land: their other name is actually the water python [2]. If a king cobra is closer to the water and the anaconda attacks suddenly, grabs it with its strong teeth and pulls the king cobra into the water, it may win, but this is very unlikely out, because anacondas do not eat or feed on other snakes.

Not to mention this is a hypothetical war because they live in different continents and habitats.

The outcome of the fight between the king cobra and the anaconda will depend on many factors, but in general the king cobra will have the advantage.

The king cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world, growing up to 18 feet long. They are highly venomous, with neurotoxins that can quickly paralyze or kill their prey. King cobras are also very aggressive and intelligent predators, good at hunting and killing other snakes, including large pythons like anacondas.

In contrast, the anaconda is a semi-aquatic snake with a heavy body, relying more on constriction to subdue its prey. While anacondas can grow to impressive sizes, they are typically not as agile or flexible as king cobras. Additionally, the king cobra’s venom can overwhelm an anaconda before it can successfully constrict the cobra.

That being said, if the anaconda can successfully wrap around and constrict the cobra, it can overpower the cobra’s venom and kill it. But the king cobra’s speed, ferocity and deadly venom will often give it the advantage in a direct confrontation between two snakes.
